Chalmette is also #8 in the power rankings. In years past, hasn't Chalmette made the playoffs only because of winning district because their power points were too low?

Yeah, hence why I complained about our schedule

I believe if we end up going on the road again for the playoffs, it will be because we didn’t call our game against Patrick Taylor a rainout last week… we beat them 18-1 but they’re going to hurt our power rating

I still think it’s skewed elsewhere. We don’t have a single B or C team in driving distance but districts 1, 2, and 3 have plenty. We probably should look at going to winning percentage like basketball does instead of just 1 point per opponent win, and look at going from 20 points for a win to 34
