Was shipped to me and arrived today.

Cold from being delivered via truck here in Utah.

Still really good.

Had one from Marguerites in January. This one is a little better.

B plus.

I had a buddy who lived in Houston, but loved king cake. So when he would come back for mardi gras he would a bunch of them and bring them to Houston. he then vac sealed them and put them in the freezer. He would not share them with his kids

Mardi Gras is over. Throw that cinnamon bun away.

It's the worst pastry you can buy. A dry, cheaply made cinnamon bun with white gunk and granulated sugar on it.

Randazzo’s King Cake

I had one that arrived early Tuesday. It was not cold.

Gotta say, it may have been the best king cake I've ever had. Everyone in the office loved it.

We had some from Haydel's that arrived later in the day. They were not near as good. We also had one from Antoine's Bakery last week. It was inferior to Randazzo's as well.

Interesting. I prefer Marguerites, Haydels and Caludas over Randazzos. I even tried Oak Point this year. Very good, but it wasn’t what I’d call a king cake. It’s good there’s so many options.

I find those two pretty close to the same thing when fresh.

I actually had more after getting f’d up in Park City..

Marguerite’s is better. Less dense. Randazzo’s has too much base bulk/filler.

ya if you buy the trash they sell at walmart

Randazzo’s King Cakes are soft fresh and always great.

the pecans and praline drizzle is evil good, the kind you cant stop going back for, but even the plain Randazzo’s King Cake is soft moist and delicious
