Surprise, surprise. JBE’s dotd was uncooperative with bucees.

DOTD refused to consider bucees recommendations for how to create the traffic interchange for the location in Ruston. As soon as Landry got in, Ruston mayor and other local politicians met with new dotd and, voila, they are open to bucees ideas. Hopefully this is the final hurdle. I pray we never elect a democrat again. I don’t know if Landry will be great, but stuff like this is stupid. These guys are building these stations all over the country. They probably have a better idea what the traffic issues will be and how to avoid.

Legal entities building new facilities in Louisiana and hiring folks will always be a + in my book.

This is literally the reason that Bucees backed out of the BR location several years ago. That and the state's insistence to use certain contractors to get approvals

JBE was a shite stain on this state. I hope all those republicans for Edwards are happy. At least we didn’t get stuck with a guy who slept with a stripper while the state was getting raped by billboard attorneys and Carmouche and associates.

Hell, lets give the management of Bucees, Chicfila, and Texas Roadhouse a stab at running this country.
