Come the frick on bro. You don’t need multiple years to turnover a basketball roster like football. 1 year is all it takes to turnover a basketball team. This IS what our program is going to be.

Not when everyone jumped ship and no one wanted to come here out of fear of sanctions. At least know what you are talking about before you speak bro.

While it’s true you can turnover a roster in 1 year, that’s not a model of consistency. McMahon is laying groundwork for a sustainable program that will be consistent year in and year out without having to rebuild in the portal every year. Reloading your whole team through the portal doesn’t guarantee you shite, see: Arkansas this year

Show me the long list of recent coaching hires that took a program from rock bottom (yes, that’s where we were after Wade was fired) into a tourney team in two years.

Oats is the closest one I can find but he took over a functional albeit below average program.

LSU basketball is not even close to the kind of program that can fix a basketball roster in one year. Sure, Kentucky can do that, just like Brian Kelly was able to quickly reload the football program - that’s because LsU is a football blueblood.
