I can understand if this was a teenager who didn't know any better. But how can you be a full grown adult 37 years old who didnt know that this was illegal.

Dude made it to 37. That's the most amazing part of this story.

The gentleman is from Reserve, Louisiana so perhaps you should factor that into your age equation.

so who is in the wrong when constitutional carry passes and they shoot him in the head?

I would think there's a good shot the shooter gets off in that situation. May depend on if there's video that sheds any light on how a reasonable person would interpret his actions, but this isn't a case of discrimination or jumping to conclusions. The idiot is in a ski mask and literally telling people he's carrying a bomb. At a certain point you shouldn't have to wait to see if it's "just a prank, bro." There's a reasonable belief that you and other lives are in imminent danger.

I would think more people would start carrying so that could potentially up the chances, right?

I think a lot of the opposition to constitutional carry is rooted in the misguided belief that once it passes the masses will start conceal carrying. The truth is, carrying concealed is not particularly comfortable or convenient. 28 other states already have constitutional carry and it's not the wild wild west in those states.

God damn people are stupid.

If constitutional carry goes into effect, the next time someone does something like this, I hope a patron blows their fricking head off.

In October a shooter in Virginia was acquitted on charges after he shot some dipshit trying to pull a YouTube prank on him in the mall. He ran up to some guy and unexpectedly put a phone in the guy's face. The shooter obviously had no idea what was happening and shot the dumbass.

The jury did the right thing. If you don't want to get shot, don't run up to strangers who are minding their own business and start accosting them.
