I am taking my 2 kids in May. One is an LSU recent grad and the other will be a HS grad. That's where they wanted to go the most.
That said...doing all the touristy things- Times Sq, Statue of Liberty, NBC, and Yankee game also.
I have been probably 10 times and never felt unsafe. Just dont be an idiot and stay out til 5am.
