Serious response though. That Stony Brook pitcher wasn't bad. It was tough to string enough hits together off of him. The wind was one problem, but those shadows didn't help either. Yesterday Stony Brook just had more balls that had eyes than we did. It's not we pitched terrible, or didn't put good swings on them. Just was one of those days where it kind of just is what it is.

Except for the walks.

One thing that is clear is that Yeskie must not be a pitch to contact and let the defense make plays coach. A strike out is the goal of every AB, and giving up a walk is better than giving up a hit.

(Don't know if this is actually true, just feels like what's happening.)

The majority of SB's hits were ground balls up the middle except for the fly ball over Pearson and the liner down the left field line.
