Mark this down. Herring won't be at LSU next season. His ERA was near 4 last season but LSU staff was thin. This year, LSU has used 19 pitchers and I don't see Herring as being one of the better ones. His ERA now I believe is 10.5 after his poor showing tonight and the last game before this one.

I think Herring did really well last year when we would pitch a flame thrower righty and then he would come in to finish. Other than the CWS game where he did really well after following Ack.

I bet he will. Jay loves lefty’s. Kid was a big reason we won the CWS. His Wake performance was clutch.
