I think Herring did really well last year when we would pitch a flame thrower righty and then he would come in to finish. Other than the CWS game where he did really well after following Ack.

Don't know how many batters he hit last season, but just counting hits and walks, his WHIP was 1.5...not very good IMNO.

He followed Coleman against Wake Forest and saved our Omaha arse.

Skenes only makes one appearance in the CWS if not for Herring… and we go idiots bailing on him after a slow start.
