Been sober for almost 3 years now. 4 treatment centers, multiple trips to the psych ward, and 3 different ER Trips...one of which I stayed in for 4 days due to seizures, blood pressure, and heart rate complications. I was drinking a liter of vodka a day. Horrible way to live. Almost lost everything. I go to meetings daily and try to make a group meeting once a month. But have the DTs & Hallucinations and then seizures...wouldnt want that on anyone. Most scared in my entire life was when coming out of a seizure blackout and I open my eyes and I am seeing things melt on the walls and my family is crying in my face trying to get me on my feet.
