They did the windshield on my 4runner last Friday. Took about 45 minutes. Super easy.

Safelite sells crappy glass and is way overpriced. Only rubes use them.

Other than a little more pricey in some areas, I have heard good things about their mobile service.
There are some vehicles that require removal and reinstallation of certain critical parts in the area that would probably be better left to an inhouse service center.

You use your insurance to cover a windshield? You must enjoy outrageous premiums.
What an idiot

100% correct. I wouldn’t use them for any reason.

We use them on our fleet at work pretty regularly. Not having someone sitting in a waiting room for a couple of hours is great.

Yes. Damn windshield LEAKED afterwards.

Hello Dad, Can't you spec OEM glass with Safelite?
Posted on 3/7/24 at 9:57 pm to Traveler
For my Tacoma, I tell them Toyota glass. Ask for Jayson, the owner.

Never use Safelite. Only use Advanced in BTR.

If you only knew 75 percent of auto glass companies buy there windshields from Safelite. It's all made from the same factory.

Windshield cracks don’t bother me. They give cars character.

But apparently the cracks bother the state of Louisiana - because if you have cracks in your windshield your vehicle won't be able to pass to get a required state inspection sticker.

We use it for our fleet vehicles all the time. Very convenient

That’s who I exclusively use. They’re great.
Also great: adding the zero windshield deductible to your insurance if you live somewhere like BR. Seems like rocks are always hitting my windshield.
GMC Sierra.

They did mine, installed a windshield that had no tint along the top like the one that came with the truck without telling me. They said they were installing factory equal. They apologized and said too bad.

I did. It was expensive, but convenient.
They came to my place of work and did it.

They came to my parking garage once at work and did the job quickly and well. No complaints at all.
