they got all the races covered and they're all close friends...just like you see in our 'real world' i'm sure.
They're all Chinese in the book. So even the white people shouldn't be there if you're wanting accurate. So knowing that, of the diversity hires, does the black guy, Indian guy, or the two white people bother you the most?

someone please tell me dumb and dumber have not ruined this amazing story with f*cking DEI. why do this
I will never trust Dumb and Dumber and haven't seen it yet so I can't speak to the quality yet, but if you haven't read the books, how do you know it's an amazing story? It's kind of hard to know it's an amazing story that is ruined by having a black and Indian guy in it if you haven't read it right? I'm just going to assume having the two white people didn't bother you. For all you know, you could hate the books, they definitely aren't for everybody. They weren't for me. The show might not be for you as well.

That’s how I want it. Just like the book.
I don’t give a crap if there isn’t one white person in it if the books are that way. In fact I don’t want to see a white person in it if the books are written that way.

There are different locales and ethnicities but not overt DEI unless you’re really determined to find it.
