Any job you can get with the company is going to be a step up from contracting. If it's working for the plant, its probably worth taking.

That said, the plants themselves are all about the same IMO. If you just accept the rules and culture for what they are and go with the flow, you'll likely work a lot of hours and make a lot of money.
