I have a partscaster that is built around a 25th Anniversary Strat body. Crappy Porsche Silver finish and everything. Bought the body, neck, Fender tuners, Kahler trem, and prewired pickguard assembly from Jimmy Foster at Foster's Guitars in NOLA in '83. I assembled it with his help. I've upgraded it over the years. New pickups, tuners, Babicz trem. Got a new Fender neck. Fret Shack installed the new neck and a Gilmour switch along with a setup. Like I told Jeff, she ain't much, but I'll never give her up. Sounds great through an AC-10.

I have a partscaster
Don't we all? I had a franken-strat built from leftovers.. I did eventually buy a new neck and tuners... and it was fun to play. In it's glory days it was deep glossy black with baby blue spots flicked over the body...
Sounded good.. Felt good.. I miss it.
