In Lafayette, before Blackham, it was at a small arena call the "Entertainment Center" just off University Ave on the north side of where the now BNSF RR tracks cross.

We were poor but I do recall my dad bring us there a couple of times when I was young.

I also recall MidSouth in the Heymann Center in Lafayette. Met Terry Taylor there as a kid, way before he took on the Red Rooster gimmick in WWF. My brothers and I would practically knock each other out practicing his flying forearm
