And btw what’s more cultish, liking a coach who had the best winning% in program history, won and SEC title, qualified for 4 straight NCAA tourneys in 5 years, an NIT bid in his first, led the SEC in wins for 3 years and had the longest NCAA tourney streak here in 31 years. Or the group who worships a losing coach who’s never accomplished anything at this level, who has a record of somewhere in the neighborhood of 13-40 vs P5 opponents and an SEC win% of 30.6%?

This is so sad.

You should stop and take a long, hard look at yourself if you are comparing the seasons of LSU and McNeese State.

That tells us all we need to know about the coaching jobs being performed at the two schools.

Thanks to Woody. Wade was his scape goat.

However in about a week, McNeese fans can still watch their team compete at the highest level. If they are hot, they may win a game.

LSU Fans will have to console themselves with Baseball and women's Basketball.

This might've gone better if we didn't lose at home to a team in their conference that they beat by double digits 3 times.

Dude LSU plays in the SEC. Mcneese plays in the Southland, which is a one bid league. Mcneese would have actually gotten consideration as an at large if they didn't win their conference, which says a whole hell of a lot.

But if this needed explaining to you, then you are way to dumb to understand the explanation.

Right now they are a projected 13 seed and slated to face a 4 seed in Alabama. Good luck, General!

They are going to be between an 11-13 seed. Do you understand what type of accomplishment that is for a school like McNeese?

You lost me right here. McNeese was terrible last year. Wade turned it around year 1.

LSU name alone should be able to attract better talent.

All you need to know is that if LSU and McNeese played tomorrow on a neutral court McNeese would be the favorite.

They are 32 spots higher in the KenPom rankings than LSU. That’s unbelievable for a Southland conf team.

I love Wade, but I don't think this would be the case. Mcneese would make it closer than it should be, because they are well coached. But their is a big gap. Mcneese could probably beat them maybe 2/10.

No. Just no. They would finish at, or very near, the bottom.
