I saw that too. Although appealing, it would be a crazy idea for a network to pay that much in a soft ad market for a single nightly comedy show that follows a washed up liberal hack comic that makes nearly 15 million a year. I know you could spread out content onto Paramount+ and not just CBS, but still 2 billion, it’s rich bitch. Oprah, I don’t think would command that level of salary if she reincarnated her daily syndicated show and was carrying Dave Chappelle’s love child.

It always happens when a comedian doesn’t consistently toe the line of beliefs and attack who they want them to attack.
All the sudden they are “washed up”. When in reality they cant laugh at certain things because they have a stick up their arse and it’s not against what they are against.
