I've started looking into doing this lately. Thinking about doing Meru as a acclimation hike first then Kilimanjaro.

I've done a 14er and a few 13ers. Altitude doesn't affect me much but I know things change as you age. 19k is no joke.

Haven't really nailed down any guides yet. Looks like there are many to choose from.

I’ve done Inca trail which gets up to around 14. Everest base camp gets to 17,600, but you sleep higher on that trek than Kilimanjaro. For kili, you have a huge push in summit day, but I think the highest you sleep is around 15k. Since you just climb up to the summit and then go back down to 10k, altitude shouldn’t affect me as much as spending considerable time over 17k. I felt out of it at Gorekshep on Everest base camp, but that’s the only problems I had, and I felt fine the next morning when we descended.
