Just watched it. Sooo good. As soon as they ended up in the desert, you knew what was coming.

Bastion’s voice acting deserves an Emmy and I’m not exaggerating

Theo James did great. It'd be pretty cool if they got one semi big name every season as a "mystery character."

It was very similar to Ultron in the MCU. Ominous with gravitas. Solid.

This might be the only group of people on earth who don't think this show is woke. What sort of things are y'all looking for?
‘X-Men ’97’ Showrunner Confirms Morph “Was Confessing Romantic Feelings” For Wolverine In Season Finale
Is the show runner lying? What is it that y'all are missing that he attempted to put in the show?

Since Cable was "missing" on Forge's wall, are we thinking he somehow was the person that scattered the X-Men through time? That perhaps he didn't know Magneto would come to and save the day so, to save his parents and humanity, he sent the asteroid (and all on it) wherever he could?

I honestly have no idea. I don't know the source material like some around here do. Your guess sounds reasonable though.

Have you watched the whole season? One or two lines in 10 episodes doesn't make a show "woke" no matter how hard you clutch your pearls.
Even in the original show, Morph turned into Storm, Jean, and Rogue to hit on Wolverine to 'mess with him.'
The show has a 98% on Rotten Tomatoes, 9/10 on IMDB.

Because it's a great show and some of us don't spend every moment of every day looking for something to whine about. The stuff you're referencing is so miniscule compared to everything else in the show that it comes and goes.

Wait until Wolverine awakes and professes his love to Morph

I agree that it's been so minor that it doesn't ruin how fun the show has been. That said out of all the main x-men characters so far in the 10 episodes, Morph has been the least valuable. He's basically a stand in for marvel cameo of the episode. He had a good story in the original show.

The whole premise of the X Men is a “woke” concept. It’s literally a series about a fight for civil rights. So, yeah, some “woke” concepts or storylines are naturally going to be included. And the show rules not in spite of those concepts but because those concepts of finding community and acceptance are human and relatable (we all went to middle school, yall. Nobody liked anyone - especially themselves - and it sucked but we got through it)

Someone speculated that Bastion was the one who scattered them. Bastion absorbed Cable's arm, which had his time travel device embedded in it.
I thought that was a good theory.

That makes a lot of sense.

It's not. During periods of its history it has been, but that's not how it started. It's really about evolution and mutants being superior to humans and trying to co-exist with humans. It's not about civil rights. The big divide is that Xavier thinks they should co-exist where Magneto believes they are the next step in evolution and superior to homo-sapiens and they should not fear them or be subjugated by them because they are better than them.

Rolling Stone: And the whole civil rights metaphor that ended up being the defining metaphor of the X-Men, did that come along in the first few issues?
Stan Lee: It came along the minute I thought of the X-Men and Professor X. I realized that I had that metaphor, which was great. It was given to me as a gift. Cause it made the stories more than just a good guy fighting a bad guy.

He should be pretty useful in subterfuge situations but I dunno, just not interested. He’s like a less effective Mystique.

It literally is (see GCT’s Stan Lee quote).

So kinda like MLK vs Malcolm X….

He has given contradicting interviews about this. Do your research.
The MLK v Malcolm X talking point has always been revisionist history.
