I waited until I could watch the doc before commenting:

DS was a power hungry arse hoe who seems like he had a bit of "arrested development" as the one lady said. I wasn't swayed either way after watching except that without more information its hard to determine his level of complicity in the child predator parts of it. At best he didn't ask any questions and probably knew that something was afoot.

The rapists and predators are absolutely horrific and I'm sure that this is just the tip of the iceberg for what really happened (and happens?) with these productions.

I agree with other posters that a lot of this is out of context 20/20 hindsight. The only exception is the Ariana Grande water deal. That shouldn't have been aired and even filmed.

I'm not discounting that this work situation was rough, but Hollywood is a weird place to begin with. Especially in the 90's/2000's when times were much different in what was accepted practice. If you told me that this still happened today, I'd still believe it though.

Some of that was never aired on nickelodeon.
You had to go online to view "extra content".

In a sick way, it was grooming teenagers to look for erotica online.
The fact that it was saved for online consumption and not the regular showing implies that they knew it wasn't in the right Overton window.
