The IRA is a self-described Marxist-Leninist organization. Sinn Fein is a bunch of fairy cowards who lost their political relevancy 25 years ago.

You won't see migrants in the Shankill area of Belfast. The only truly right-wing party in either ROI or Northern Ireland are the Ulster loyalists. But they are being bred out. This will create an interesting problem. The UK doesn't want Northern Ireland anymore, but there is a very very vocal political bloc in England (and to a lesser extent Wales) that would likely permanently abandon any and all political parties who agreed to let them go. And I don't think the Irish government truly wants a united Ireland, despite the overwhelming percentage of Irish citizens wanting a united Republic.

I’ve been going to Ireland pretty regularly for the last 15 years and haven’t noticed the influx of migrants like they have had in the UK, even in Dublin.
It was surprising when they were one of the 1st EU countries to ban indoor smoking, including pubs. They followed that up with an approval of abortion and same sex marriage. It was refreshing to see that the 2 referendums that Varadkar backed got soundly defeated.

Irelands entire political spectrum is leftist and woke beyond belief. Always has been.
Same with Scotland. It’s because they all hated England, which was the horrible oppressor, so they made common cause with France, of the 1789 Revolution, communes, Committee for Public Safety, etc. Bunch of left wing stuff.

Leo Varadkar, the homosexual PM of Ireland with Indian descent, resigned yesterday
That ended as well as could be expected.

The changes in Irish society have been really dramatic. When my grandmother was growing up there, high school was all private, and many people couldn't afford to send their kids to school, but the Irish population is among the very highest educated in all of Europe now and Dublin has a business district that looks like a mini-Silicon valley. They've basically become a European hub of US corporate power and the wealth doesn't trickle down to the average worker, and their housing situation is miserable, but it's still way better than the agrarian society they had before.

Agreed, and god bless the Irish.
The powers that be will push another Varadkar on the country though.

That SHOULD be the Irish themselves, but like lemmings, the populace is being led off a cliff by witless globalist elites.

Thanks to an extremely low corp tax rate designed to attract those businesses.

…how they go from battling over religion to allowing themselves to be overrun by migrants and "asylum seekers" is mind blowing.
Obviously, the wrong religion won the fight.
