Practice days are the best because you can see the course and grounds the easiest. Which honestly, is really the only good part about in person golf viewing. Actual tournaments days for golf kinda suck if you actually like to watch golf tournaments. Easily the worst sport to attend live for a fan of the actual events

Completely agree with practice round. Went on a Tuesday several years ago and walked the entire course. Truly incredible. Has since given me a great perspective whenever I watch at home.

Disagree when it comes to Augusta. Every day out there is absolutely awesome.

I have never been for a practice round but I have been a few times on Sunday. I know everyone has different opinions but I completely disagree with you. Yes, you don’t get to see every shot but hearing the roars around the course as you are following the final few groups and then the anticipation as they change the boards all around the course at the exact same time is electric.
Watching the final few groups all day then sitting in your chair that you placed on 18 almost 10 hours before which no one touched is amazing. I got to follow Tiger for all 18 on a Saturday which was awesome but can’t touch being there on a Sunday. I have been to a lot of major sporting events but there is nothing like a masters Sunday in person
