30 minutes my arse. NORAD and the lot are going to take half that time to confirm launches, launch counterstrikes, and all of us are going to be on Teams/Webex calls when the alert comes in.
I'm lucky. I'm within five miles of hundreds of medical offices and hospitals. My area will be targeted by a couple of warheads, let alone what is going to happen to Baytown, Galveston, etc. I will never know what happened, but I will no longer need to pay child support.

I used to hope I would survive the initial strike then build up a clan and be a warlord. Now I hope I am at ground zero. I don't want to live when just surviving is a 24 hour a day job.
