There is no issue except for the tax incentive given by our government for married couples. There is a reason why heterosexual couples get tax breaks. It encourages the joining of 2 people to pro create and raise children in structured environment.

There is no reason why the government should give tax breaks to same sex couples.

Thst will only lead to arranged “marriages” for tax purposes.
2 dudes or 2 women getting legally “married” purely for the tax incentive.
That’s just a sham.
