How did some dudes shoot up a theater in downtown Moscow for a long enough time to shoot like 300 people, who all presumably have cell phones to call police, then walk out of the place, get into a car, then drive 500 miles before being arrested?

Russia is a police state. If you hold up a blank piece of cardboard in Red Square a group of police will surround you. Yet police didn’t surround the theater where mass murder was taking place casually and apparently live on video?

None of this seems remotely credible.

I think the majority of people died from smoke inhalation.

The gunmen were in the theater for around 12 minutes or so. The response time for the special unit was twenty.

There's minimal police presence on the street.

If you believe Vladimir Solovyov (along with Margarita Simonyan they are the biggest talking heads on Russian State TV) all the other concerts and large gatherings had significant police/military presence whereas this concert had only three private security guards for the entire venue. There was video released where people got to exits and the doors were locked.
