While this is old-school thinking, as far as I'm concerned, this is the way.

But others don't. They believe coming out relieves them of the guilt and tensions they feel in not being true to their feelings. Fine. Come out. Then shut up because nobody, except other gay enablists, cares to have it permeate everything.

Would not surprise me at all that she is gay. The fact that she doesn’t feel comfortable being open about this is heartbreaking.
