Hard to say, each organization is different. Pirates are pretty cheap so they may hold out. I think it's sometime in June the cut off date for the players rights thing. Saw that in some article not too long ago.

Putting him MLB starts his clock but also if he pitches like he should and receives recognition in Rookie of the Year or end of the Year awards then the organization will get some bonus picks in the draft.
