The dude is coming off a national title and is in his 3rd year. Not to mention we're 3 SEC series deep, we've played 3 ranked teams, two on the road and we loss.

Who do you want to replace him with? Give a specific name.

Holy straw man

No one on this board is saying to fire Jay that I've seen.

He won that NC title with primarily Maineiri’s recruits.

I'm in Jay's corner, but "Who do you replace him with?" is not a legitimate question when considering firing him. We know that there are great up and coming coaches out there even if we don't know who they are. It is not our job to know who they are. I didn't even know who Skip Bertman or Nick Saban were when they were hired. Also, the word "specific" is fast becoming a crutch for middle-brows, taking it's place next to the word "literally". It doesn't add one thing to your sentence. You should have been broken of that habit in high school.

When it's time to fire a coach (It's absurd to even consider that with Jay) you fire him. Then you replace him with someone the AD thinks will be great. It doesn't matter in the least what posters on tigerdroppings think.
