Well the front of the schedule is way tougher than the back end, so a turnaround to make the postseason is definitely in the card

I don’t think Kling has a batting average in SEC play. Leads the team in K’s. He hadn’t earned the right to be in the lineup. This is two years now that he has to be benched for poor performance

I like the positivity but LSU’s bench should be able to beat Southern with 8 guys in the field and only getting 2 outs per inning instead of 3 - From a talent perspective.

I’m still just happy about the championship last year and understand that you can’t cover the gap in talent and experience that left after last season in one off season.

We lost several solid veteran upperclassmen, two of the greatest college baseball players ever and a MLB level assistant coach. What did we expect to happen?
