We were 2-7 in SEC play then too?
6-3 with the best team in college baseball, and there were people saying this team wouldn't make it to Omaha because they weren't sweeping the SEC series.
Point being, the idiots here are going to melt no matter what.

And there are also people that believe we are going to magically turn it around because Tennessee did it last year. There are people that think Hurd is a great starting pitcher because of one game in Omaha. Point is, there are also people that will pump sunshine no matter what. It's ok to be realistic about what this team actually is.

Oh I agree on that. I’m not melting, just having a realistic take on what this team is and accepting that we are witnessing a down year, offensively and defensively.
LSU needs a fairly historic turnaround starting this weekend if they want to have a shot at making noise in the post season. I just don’t see it happening 30 games in personally. Half way through the season with a conference record in the toilet is tough to overcome when you don’t have any phase of the game that you can lean on every weekend
Last year you had bats that you don’t even come close to matching this year that carried LSU through the pitching and fielding struggles
