re: Minimum wage battle is going to destroy small businesses!

I own a small business in Louisiana. 24 full time employees and 2-4 part timers depending on the time of the year. I 100% agree that no full time employee should be making less than $15/hr. None of my full time people make less than $20/hr and most everyone is $25/hr +. To be honest it’s killing the part time employee or the person who needs that extra part time job to keep his/her kid out of public schools.

Big corp like McD’s and stuff really don’t care, you’ll buy your $12 BigMac that you ordered and paid for on a kiosk and enjoy it. It’s the mom and pops who have a small boutique, coffee shop or lawn care co. that it’ll hurt the most but ultimately that what govt wants. I’m far from rich but luckily I’m super white privileged so I’ve made it pretty good for myself.

There has to be a middle ground where you don’t have to pay students/part time positions the same minimum wage as full time positions.
