Just looked it up. The 2022 title game had 4.85 million viewers.

And it isn't Caitlin. It's Caitlin and Angel.

I posted a few weeks ago. Their biggest and huge ratings were on par with usfl football and Canadian football if I recal

It’s mostly Caitlin. She plays closer to the style you see men play basketball and usually has the ball. With this past game it’s also a little based on Kim as well with the press she had received and commented on. She may bring in fans, but I think she motivates people to watch who want to see her lose even more.

But you could not have asked for better marketing for a women’s game. The Caitlin versus Angel stuff has gone on for a year, rematch of final, and then it got ramped way up with the Post’s article on Kim and then Kim’s criticism of the LA Times and charges of sexism and racism in the article.
