I think so. I don’t know how it translates to the SEC, but 5.5 sacks for a DT is pretty good. I only watched him against Ole Miss, but he was consistently getting pressure from the interior. He looked strong, and pretty quick with good block shedding ability.

No. He was probably overrated in high school as a top 300 player… but if we’re after a RB, it would just be for capable depth behind Jackson, Williams, and Durham. I doubt we find a productive player who wants to be the third or fourth guy in the room, but we still need another RB.

Yes he has:

2022 Stats- started all 14 games. Tackles- 39 (22 solo, 17 assisted), 9 TFL, 3 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 4 QB hurries, 1 safety. Safety them within 6 points of USC in the bowl game and Tulane beat USC. I would say that is an amazing stat line for a interior guy with a lot of flavor.

2023 Stats- 13 starts. Tackles- 32 (20 solo, 12 assisted), 12 TFL, 5.5 sacks, 4 QB hurries

All I saw was he was playing a great game against Ole Miss and pressuring the QB a lot.
