Nah! I was just a misunderstanding, then the cops said, "our bad, you can now come in, if you promise to just look around and then leave...no biggie. We'll just forget what happened prior to."

Should she be jailed for trespassing?

What other riot led to violent confrontations intended to disrupt Congress?
Not the Kavanaugh protests.
Wait what?
Are you saying the Kavanaugh protests did not include "violent confrontations intended to disrupt Congress"?
Or are you acknowledging that they did, but for some reason exempting them from this discussion?
quote:
A throng of protesters pushed past a police line, storming up steps to pound on the doors of the U.S. Supreme Court on Saturday after the Senate confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh.
"Hey, hey! Ho, ho! Kavanaugh has got to go," the protesters chanted as they flooded the steps of the court, many with fists raised in the air, others with arms linked.
Police eventually were able to form a line between the door and the group of protesters and later shepherded them back down the steps before erecting a barricade.
The vote itself, which ultimately confirmed the embattled judge who faced multiple accusations of sexual misconduct, was periodically interrupted with the shouts of protesters in the gallery. Pence called on the sergeant-at-arms a number of times to restore order during the vote.
Republican Sen. Jeff Flake of Arizona was called a coward by one protester. When Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia cast his "yes" vote, a woman's voice could be heard shouting, "We won’t forget." Other protesters shouted "I do not consent" and "shame" as the votes were called.
Just before 1 p.m. ET, hundreds of protesters crossed police lines to gather on the steps of the Senate, chanting, "November is coming."
U.S. Capitol Police said a total of 164 people were arrested during the protests for "crowding, obstructing, or incommoding." Police said the people who were arrested were being processed offsite and would then be released.

I just read the statement of facts for her complaint.
Was this before or after smoking a big pole?
And who did you bill the time to? You spend more time here than on anything you bill for.

She was part of a group that forced entry into the capitol and she went into the capitol following their violence.
i can't believe that I am continuing this..........
so, you are a sharp guy, if i was standing somewhere around the kid that punched and ultimately killed the 26 yr old outside of Fred's, did i do something wrong? following your logic, i am guilty for being "in the group".
she has not been charged with anything but being in a restricted area. so, the prosecutors disagree with you. and these douche bag "cops" would love to charge her with anything and everything possible. otherwise, why spend your time researching cell phone towers to arrest an old lady years later...after trespassing? at the same time, these same organizations cannot find who put the bag of cocaine inside the white house.
i will compliment you and say that you are very good with wording. you remain vague enough to not say much definitive. this way you can hide behind,"...quote me" or "where did i say that?"

I've been on record saying the majority of them should just be charged with trespassing and as a nation we wrap it up.
But make no mistake, the people inside of the Capitol that day were not there for a prayer session and they were not doing a sit in. They did not necessarily engage in peaceful demonstration.
But, I suspect that even a simple trespassing charge with a fine attached ad/ or some sort of community service component would still be considered an egregious violation to most of you

You would be wrong. Like usual.

Bruh,I'm aiming to be top dog in that department. I'm still a conservative, I'm just not an utter fool like many have become.
So tweaking you guys is entertainment especially when it comes to pointing out so much of your nihilism

bullshite, I suggested that almost at the outset and the howls I got from this board made it seem like I had violated their grandmothers.
You don't want these people to accept ANY repercussions for their actions....you really don't.

Serious question: how many of the Kavanaugh protesters fought with police?
Hundreds, if not thousands, did on J6. Do we have documentation of ONE during the Kavabaugh protests?
You good now? You've seen multiple documented instances of Kavanaugh protestors fighting police.
I've got more if you need them though.

Looks like they’re interrupting an official proceeding.

he problem with that is there isn't a comparable scenario to J6 since like maybe the 1800s?
People who tried to firebomb the federal courthouse in Portland during the "Summer of Love" only received misdemeanors.

Idiots wouldn't acknowledge it if you showed blood everywhere during this "protest". The "woke" TDS crowd is so far gone it's really sad!

Yep. Lower taxes, minimal regulation, strong national defense, pro life - across the board and sane legal interpretations from our judges...oh, and Presidents who don't trip over their own dicks and create bigger problems . Like Trump and Biden.

Who was the last president that you liked? And why was it Obama?

You brought up "equity in the justice system" for an unrelated and non-comparable event.
See where that goes?
Back to 2015, the date of the chart you submitted?
We're discussing the J6 protests in 2021 and the Kavanaugh protests in 2018, both of which occurred at the Capitol complex.
And you presented a ... nationwide survey from 2015?
Relevance, counselor?
