He should have tuned that fricker out and gone about fixing the CDC's response by the end of March.

That’s fine. I feel like we’re into semantics whenever we agree in theory. There’s certainly a point where he should have canned the showrunners for Covid, and didn’t.

I don't think it's semantics. It's timing. You say May and I say March. I think we're saying the same thing otherwise.

Anyone critical of Trump's covid response really, really needs to read Atlas' book. He really brings it together on what the administration was going through.

Yeah thats why i dont give too much shite to trump. He listened to the experts and got railed, if he doesnt listen to the experts, he gets railed.

People act like Trump was a medical doctor and supposed to make every right call when Covid hit. He is an old guy who has been a businessman his whole career. He knows jack shite about viruses and when people who he reasonably should have been able to trust based on their positions told him something, he believed them.

Trumps biggest failure in Covid was trusting that people were in their positions of authority because of competence and not for completely political reasons

IDK much about Atlas, but if that's true, good on him for calling Birx out. What a coward, if true.

Great leaders don't have everyone in their team fighting them.

They either get them pulling the same way or get someone that will.

With Trump it is always someone else's fault.

After about May or June of 2020, I completely agree he should have sacked up and fired Fauci.

I actually agree with you. The mlb season started in July.

We got the saddest first pitch and him sitting there with his mask under his chin.

This would have been around that time.

Biden isn't a military planner, border security expert or an economist - are you giving him a pass on his major frick ups in those areas?

Where Covid response is concerned, Trump is either a stooge or he took the easy (what he thought was politically expedient) way out. He'd have to have been a stooge to believe the utter nonsense his CDC was gaslighting America with. If he understood it was nonsense, then he calculated his best chances in November called him taking the knee for the Left over Covid.

My opinion is he thought his best political play was to take the knee and he let the Left roll over the country because of a virus less lethal than the flu for all but the very old/frail and already unwell.

We aren’t dealing with intelligent people.

One minute they claim Trump is a stable genius always 4 steps ahead. Next he’s just a President relying on experts for everything.

It’s amazing how easily such a supposed smart person continually gets duped, tricked, screwed, etc. by ‘dumb’ liberals

No shite

You couldn’t question any science whatsoever if it didn’t go lockstep with the government narrative
