We won’t sign him because we’re going to call up Elder or AJSS, but I still maintain Bauer is the lowest risk/highest reward FA pitcher available

When it comes to the elbow, if it's nothing more than something now, it usually turns into a something down the line. I just hope they get some finality one way or the other on the MRI. If he is destined for TJ this season, I'd rather him get it now than keep kicking the can down the road this season.
It's just worrisome because his velo was a tick up in the spring, but has been down in his first two reg season starts.
