Yes they were charged with having a gun in possession and weed. Charged and convicted are two different things. People seem to believe that if someone or the police charge you with something, you’re guilty. No that’s not at all how it works.
The charges were later dropped because no one claimed the freakn gun. So they basically lied and got away with it. The gun was on one of their laps at the time of arrest. There is no difference here. They are now charging him with something less than 2nd degree murder and he’s planning to prove that is false as well. They absolutely had a gun on them. There is no denying that. There’s video of them having a gun in the lap of someone. They were never punished.
This seems to be going in that type of direction to me and I would absolutely reinstate him with some restrictions involved. Like you can’t have any type of weapon on you and you must be clean for the remainder of your career at LSU. I’d also add that the microscope will now be on you so you need to start doing the right things to change this image and your personal path.
Basically, let’s play ball but you need to take steps in the right direction. If you’re convicted of any of these crimes then there will be equal consequences. The guy needs some guidance at this time not people to turn their backs on him. He could have been in the wrong place at the wrong time and now knows that where you at and who you with matters. I think the gun charges will be dropped as well.
