Yes, especially for bands playing at smaller venues. Especially bands that aren't mainstream. I'm a sucker for a soft tshirt and I know merch sales go directly to the bands.
Now when I go see bands like Tool, absolutely not. Everything is overpriced already and they are already wealthy.
The Ocean at the Siberia Club? Yeah, I'll buy several things from them directly, plus shirts are usually $20-25.
Looking forward to seeing All Them Witches at Chelsea's in May. Will definitely hit that merch table.
