This is clear as day.

UK didn’t want to pay the Cal buyout. You guys have wanted him gone for 2-3 years.

This gives you a way out, without paying any money to go get a top tier coach.

This gives Arkansas a good coach to provide stability since the AD wiffed on other guys.

This helps both schools IMO.

UK is a top 3 basketball school with top 3 expectations.

Arkansas is top 20 with top 20 expectations.

Less pressure for Cal and UK can go get a new big name.

Calipari will not change his coaching ways, it doesn’t matter what program he’s at. He simply views Arkansas as a bigger paycheck. That’s the only reason why he took the job. Dude is an insane egomaniac who will manipulate his way into getting the highest paying contract.

It's good for both sides, or at least for UK. A fresh start at Arky is good for Cal, might remove the rust. Time will tell.

Y'all just overpaid for a coach who clearly was not wanted when he has the best talent nearly year in and year out.

This only helps out UK...y'all got fricked.
