There’s no clearing that has to be done…..but the ground has to be reworked since it’s been let go for so long. That’s expensive.
It’s a complete renovation project, which probably is a ton of money now.
If someone wants to restore it to the original design (with 5 acres of greens and deep faced bunkers), well good luck with that. It never really worked before, why would it work now?

Golf has exploded the last 10 years. Also St. Francisville has seen a ton of nice redevelopment turning it into an attractive day visit... If done properly, it could absolutely be a destination course that draws people from a few hours drive to stay for a weekend. Middle of nowhere MS can do it, Fairhope, AL can do it. No reason this can't be the same
