It had closed for the first time by then.
The owner of Carter had purchased it for a lot less than it was worth and was looking to flip it. It was in steady condition, but they weren’t putting the resources in it like when it was getting highly acclaimed.

If Mississippi can support stay and play courses in the middle of nowhere, there's no reason The Bluffs can't be the same.
