Jimmy Carter. I have no clue how he was in reality, I was 3 when he left office.

Our farm is just a few miles from his home, met him frequently growing up. Great human being. Weird politics.

released the bullshite “A Nation at Risk” propaganda that started “school reform” initiatives that have undermined public education in this country,
actually public education in America's downfall can be attributed to Jimmy C and the federal dept of education and LBJ subsidizing and rewarding absentee parenting.

FDR - I was born in '38, just as we were beginning to come out of the depression.

Reagan
Nixon/Ford
Trump
JFK
Truman <-- First I have real memories of
GHBush/GWBush
***FDR*** <-- knew very little about him then
.
Carter
.
.
Clinton/Obama/Biden <---- same puppeteers in charge
.
.
.
LBJ - will rate at bottom for all time

moral of story -> Truman and JFK are the only acceptable democrats I have ever known.

Lyndon Johnson. 0/10

Increased our involvement in Vietnam and of course the policies that have destroyed the family structure of many especially in minority communities.

His foreign policy and understanding of international negotiations/mindset were well above average.

I don't know about all that. Kissinger was terrible and he's somewhat responsible for allowing China into the UN.

Gerald Ford

Offered a limited amnesty to Vietnam draft dodgers. Only became president because of Nixon' resignation. Led us in to a sever recession. Embarrassingly got beat by Jimmy Carter.

1/10

I used to think he was the worst President our country ever had but Jimmy Carter, BO, and Dementia Joe are worse.

One of the absolute worst to ever hold the office. Barely above Biden.

We are in his third term.

Bad: Reaganomics

You think it's bad that Reagan managed to get the top tax rate down from 70% to 29%? That he reduced regulations? That he reduced 1970s inflation by controlling the money supply?

That's what the media meant by "Reganomics."

I kind of think those things were the best things he accomplished.

Yeah, he spent a lot of money too, but that was a deliberate strategy to outspend the USSR into oblivion, which he also accomplished. And the USSR was the most serious direct threat to the US in the entire 20th century.

Nixon was actually a pretty good President. Just power hungry and paranoid. Take away Watergate which looks quaint compared to present day corruption and he was a decent President 6.5/10.

1970 here. Nixon was a pretty good President; but a really, really bad politician. He just made it too easy to portray him as a villain.

1970, Nixon.

The Good: Finally ended the Vietnam War. Finally got schools integrated (almost 20 years after B v BOE). Stood firm and made the USSR blink, avoiding another Cuban Missile Crisis-type confrontation. Project Independence. China diplomacy.

The Bad: The War On Drugs. Lowered voting age to 18. Title IX. Founded the EPA. Took the US off the gold standard.

The Ugly: His paranoia and insecure, fragile ego was unmatched...until 2016.

6/10.

He'd get higher, but that paranoid ego caused him to ultimately become a huge national embarrassment.
