Basically, when is UCONN is good, they're a REALLY good and win it all.

this is generous. there is an insane amount of luck involved. 6-0 is an incredible outlier.

last year they got a 5 seed in the final four and a 5 seed in the final. 2011 they got an 8 seed in the final. 2014 they got an 8 seed in the final. an 8 seed has made the final 4 times, they've drawn 2 of those 4. the next worst team to make the final has been 5 seeds. so, in 3 of their title games, they've drawn 3 of the worst 5 teams of the 25 years.

a 4, 7, and 3 seed are the lowest seeds to have won the tournament in the past 25 years as well. this is not uconn doing anything different than anyone else. this is luck.

1999, 2004, and 2024 didnt have as much "luck," but those are also their 3 best team that didn't need it. nothing against them as they have taken full advantage of that luck when other teams/programs have not.

does any of this matter? no, they fricking won them all, it's incredible. and none of this applies to this team this year, who is one of the best teams/seasons of the modern era.
