It was about 25 years ago when the AMA tried to get Congress to put gun laws under the jurisdiction of the health agencies because the guns were a disease that caused epidemics of gun deaths. Even the Dems in Congress wouldn't support it. That's when I realized that govt health agencies are not a bunch of doctors. They are bureaucrats seeking political power over the masses.

I don't disagree. The major issue will be police and military. The vast majority are going to do what the people who are paying them tell them to do. The ones who won't will just be culled and replaced with ones who will take orders. Covid showed us that.

Just simply "x" out the question.

Had one nurse come out and ask for an answer.

My reply. ....."Worried I might get up off the table and shoot someone?" Ignore the question.

Response #1: why are you asking?
Response #2: that’s none of y’all’s business

Response #3: what? Are y’all becoming woke now?

If that happens, there will be a split. Will not be 50/50, most would side with the statists.

I would like to think some States would hold the line.

I get that you're soft and comfortable, and easily placated with security.

Not all are like you.

And guess what? People fell in line like a bunch of lemmings this didn't even take into account the vaccine (that in reality wasn't even a vaccine) and what lemmings did with that. All this happened under Trump and you think the government under Biden or some other clown couldn't orchestrate a way to get your guns if they really wanted them? You'd have friends, family, neighbors etc that are anti gun turning you in etc. Did you fail to see whose side the police were on during covid? Arresting people paddle boarding out in the ocean alone or walking on a beach without another person within 200 yards etc. Now, multiply that times ten and that's the tyranny and corruption you would get during a gun confiscation. Nobody on here will do a single thing just like they didn't during covid but whine and complain on the internet.

You know why? They were successfully led, by Doctors, to believe the China Virus was a deadly pandemic and fear became the motivator. Now we know we must be more diligent.

However, I do not know how they can make a person fearful enough to give up their weapons. The weapon is certainly not toxic.

I am a pure blood who would not enter hospitals for medical appointments because a mask was required. Horse paste was and is my elixer!!

All our pediatrician has said was just to be sure to keep any weapons locked up.
I just responded, yes I’m not a moron ma’am.

I unexpectedly had to drop trou during a follow up. My piece got caught on the lip of the chair I had been sitting in, the doc moved the chair so I could pull my pants back up. He wasn't a white guy either.
