Making this the boomer cohort grinds my gears. A kid born in the forties who grew up going to Saturday afternoon cowboy movies has little in common with a kid who grew up watching the Brady Bunch.
Fun fact: I am the child of parents who came of age in the early sixties, but I'm a Boomer. My spouse is the late in life child of a WWII veteran but she's Gen X.
