That’s a good idea. I know that people up north use a product called ACF-50 on their vehicles to protect against corrosion from salt on the roads, and wondered if that might work as well. What I like about it is apparently it doesn’t just wash off with water alone and sticks around a while.

A lot of aviation companies use and swear by it on electrical connections. Some even mist it in internal fuselage areas. I sprayed it on every connector on my old chevy, truck and boat trailer and have yet to have any problems. Note: It is a penetrant and will seep into every crevice and corner. Use sparingly!
