the main thing they do better is, there is a chip inside the ball, so it marks where the ball is at on plays, so there is no question if a first down was made, or if they crossed the goal line. this means the refs dont have to guess where to spot the ball or just use their own bias to put the ball anywhere they want to.

but then that would eliminate a lot of ways they use to cheat teams and they need to rig games so they cant allow accurate marking of where the ball is at

its basic 2nd grade level technology yet the NFL, while making billions, absolutely refuses to use it

How does the chip know when the runner is down?

That's cause the NFL is managed by a Neanderthal who has no interest in the integrity of the game.

This cannot be entirely accurate, unless the chip is the size of the ball.

If it’s in the center and the nose crosses the goal line, it’s a touchdown but the chip would say short.
