Oh yeah, no doubt. That’s logical. That’s not what the op is stating.
OP is assuming all these high level recruits and former state Gatorade players of the year are now afraid to hit.

Who says they aren’t timid at the plate?
Because you should know as well as I do that SEC pitching is a different stratosphere level of hard compared to any high school pitching. Hence why most of our young hitters start struggling mightily when SEC play starts.
