I started watching Mid-South wrestling when I was around 12 years old. Then, I graduated to WCW out of Atlanta in TBS. I really bought into the storylines and the action even through Wrestlemania 1. Once I graduated college in 1990, I just didn’t have the same desire to watch all of the drama.
My favorite wrestlers were Junkyard Dog, Big Red, Roddy piper , and Hulk Hogan.

I watched religiously until the Rock and Stone Cold were gone.
That was the greatest era IMO. I think it’s referred to as the attitude era. I really didn’t give a crap about the matches, but the storylines were pure genius. You could never get away with the storylines these days…Rakishi’s stink face, Mae Young getting knocked up by Mark Henry, Jerry the King Lawler yelling about PUPPIES, etc.
