Man this seems like a lot of work for a physical insecurity. Work that seems unsustainable if you have any semblance of a busy life.

Seems like getting psychologically comfortable with being bald would be a much cheaper, easier, and healthy path.

I was thinning pretty bad at 28 so I just buzzed it off with no guard and have been doing so weekly since then.

I don't even think about being bald anymore and it's much cooler in the summer.

I'm sure I probably looked better with hair but can't really control it so it is what it is.

I started going bald in my 20s. I would love to have long hair or any really, but I’m not wearing a toupee.

The man looked like a human pin cushion. Rode that plane from Colombia to Miami like a champ though.

I’ll give you some pubes to give you that wild and curly look. Even use them for a mustache. You’re welcome. I usually leave about 20 on the urinal…I’ll start gathering them tomorrow.

I've done a good job shaving close or wearing a ball cap to conceal the hairline.

I’m sure your coworkers who knew you were bald for 20 years have no clue.

People say this as if it's 1981 and it's your English teacher's toupee which stands out a mile away.

For the more recent time frame, I can't say I notice anyone wearing a piece or system.

Maybe because I'm not looking for one & don't care, who knows.

Jesus H Christ, do you think people don’t notice that you used to be bald, and now have fake hair (and are laughing at you behind your back)?

What would the female equivalent of this be? Flat chested lady rolling into to work with some double D’s after a boob job?

I’d imagine so. Plus, I can’t imagine being in a position to have to use the phrase “Men’s hair system” lol. What the frick does that even mean??

Why you telling Jesus this? You know the H in his middle name is Hairpiece.

I’m not bald or showing signs thankfully, but these hair products that aren’t transplants seem unbelievably cumbersome.

I imagine it’s like wearing a hat, a beanie, and being two weeks late for a haircut all the time. Is that accurate?

I do agree with the poster who said this is clearly a field that has had big advancements in the past 20-30 years.

I’m not aware of anyone who uses Bosley or the competitors, but I know several guys have used Rogaine. Others said screw it and just shaved their heads or just let their hair grow with clear male pattern baldness.

A couple of friends of a friend went to Istanbul last year and were pleased with their experience.

I didn’t see any obvious hair transplant recipients at the airport though.
